The Banjar is a acoustic guitar 16” East Indian Rosewood body with a sitka spruce top. It has a 5 string banjo 3 piece (Honduran Mahogany/Maple/Honduran Mahogany) neck. My client is a banjo player and he wanted me to build him something because he liked my work. Since I did not build Banjos, I built him something he could play.

The inlay on the custom Davis Guitar "Banjar" is made up of Mother of Pearl and Abalone.  The top is Sitka spruce with Mother of Pearl inlay. The back and sides are East Indian Rosewood with the neck being Mahogany,  Honduran Mahogany, and Maple.
